Rumpus Theatre Company will present Derek Benfield's Look Who's Talking and Robert Louis Stevenson's family favourite Treasure Island. Tabs Productions will present Sleuth - the ultimate game of cat-and-mouse by Anthony Shaffer.

After the “riotous romp” (Derbyshire Times) that was last year’s Bedside Manners, the same team is back with another serving of classic comedy from farce-master Derek Benfield. Sheila and Andrew are looking forward to a quiet Sunday lunch, until two unexpected visitors upset the scene - Brian, whom Sheila met briefly on a girls’ night out, and Carole, Andrew’s secretary - and when old friend Jane arrives too, joyous misunderstanding piles on uproarious mistaken identity as the couple try to cover up their possible infidelities, and all their chickens come home to roost!

This is Treasure Island, Jim, but not as we know it! A madcap couple of hours of fun to delight the whole family. Young Jim Hawkins bumps into all your old favourites - gullible Squire Trelawney, kind Dr Livesey, scary Blind Pew, barking Billy Bones, bonkers Ben Gunn and of course sneaky Long John Silver, not forgetting Silver’s wise-cracking parrot, and a whole host of colourful and hilarious characters. Stevenson’s classic tale of pirates and adventure is brought to life in this hysterical new version.
