Don’t miss your chance to audition for Paul Holman Associates annual pantomime – this year’s Panto is The Adventures of Peter Pan to be staged at the Pomegranate Theatre Chesterfield.

Auditions will be held at The Winding Wheel, Chesterfield on Sun 17 September:

  • Boys Registration 10am 
  • Girls Registration 1pm

Boys Criteria

Paul Holman Associates are seeking boy actors to play the roles of John Darling, Michael Darling and the Lost Boys, in this pantomime.

All applicants must be enthusiastic, confident, disciplined and have clear speaking voices with some singing and dancing ability. Boys between 9 and 15 may apply, and should not exceed 5’7” in height. Michael is the youngest and smallest of the brothers with an ideal playing age of 7-8, while John, his older brother, has an ideal playing age of 12-14. John and Michael will be required to fly in the production so should not have a fear of heights!

Children must be accompanied by their own parent. If accompanied by another adult the child must have a pre-signed consent form with them obtainable from the Children's Co-ordinator Fiona Watson for which you should email her at

Girls Criteria 

Girls aged no older than 12 years on the date of the audition and no younger than 9 years on the first day of rehearsals.

Maximum height 4'11"

Must be a minimum of Grade 1 standard in ISTD (or equivalent) modern, ballet and tap

Must be available without exception for the entirety of the rehearsal and show period.

Both school and home must be within 30 minutes travelling distance of the theatre.

Every child must have a female relative over the age of 21 years who is willing to obtain a chaperone's licence and chaperone the shows on a rota basis. Please note that if siblings are in the show there will be a heavier commitment to this.

Children who are recalled may be at the theatre for 2-3 hours so please ensure that they have drinks with them as well as all relevant shoes and dance wear.

PERFORMANCE STARTING DATE:  Saturday 2 December 2017
