At the Winding Wheel
On routes made for rails, join Stephen and his faithful German Shepherd dog Wrawby as they discover closed and forgotten railway lines. Together they cross many a valley embankment and viaduct, allowing that airy feel high above this beautiful countryside. Today, many of the lost lines have their railway connections still on view, from many preserved stations to the humble rusting signals and overgrown gradient posts.
This two-part presentation will include a journey from Scarborough to Whitby followed by a ramble from Bath to Evercreech Junction (Somerset & Dorset Railway). Wrawby will not be present at this show, but will appear on a number of the photographs.
