Born in Cardiff, living in LA and flying into Chesterfield for Christmas, actress Jo Osmond will be delighting audiences as she joins the cast of Aladdin in the role of Spirit of the Ring this December.
With over 25 years’ experience in TV and film, Jo has appeared in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Disney’s Dumbo, Snow White and the Huntsman and Dr. Who. She currently portrays various characters in the Star Wars Universe, including playing the popular Gonk droid in the Mandalorian TV series.
Jo will be recognised by many for being the first British actress to collaborate with American content creator Dhar Mann, playing the schoolteacher Miss Daisy Brooks in an online short that went viral with over 23 million views! She’s a familiar face in panto land too having won the Panto Awards 2023 Best Magical Being title!
Bringing her own star quality to the production, Jo will be sprinkling magic and granting wishes at the Winding Wheel Theatre this Christmas.
Jo joins The Chase's Anne Hegerty, Britain's Got Talent's Tony Rudd and Darren Clewlow-Smith in this year's magic carpet ride of adventure!
